Didn’t they always say that ignorance is bliss? Petunia was educated enough to know that that was true.

Petunia is a cipher to me, always has been: I've heard some theories that her housekeeping is some kind of latent magic ability; but I like the idea of her going cold-turkey for a drug she'll never have again... chilling and bitter and just gorgeous.
